Franklin Family Foundation Matches Register Goal

For the second year in a row, Franklin Farrow’s family foundation has agreed to match the donations made at the register at the Samaritan Center.

 

The register goal was $5,000, an ambitious goal for a difficult year. (The register goal is a small but significant part of the overall $200,000 goal set by the Center.) There were times the cashiers worried that they wouldn’t make it, but in the end the generosity of our community came through loud and clear, and we exceeded our goal by more than $800.

 

Thanks to our cashiers for all of their hard work, to everyone who donated at the register for their willingness to share, and to Franklin and family for their benevolence in the midst of a difficult year.
